Our Purpose
The purpose of the American Legion Honor Guard is to honor the service and sacrifice of honorably discharged veterans of the U.S. Armed Forces and their families. The dedicated members of the Post 28 Honor Guard render military honors at an average of 20 - 30 funerals per year for veterans in Grant County in Washington State.
It Is Our Privilege
Our Post considers it an honor and a privilege to serve the families of deceased veterans; therefore, our team members aspire and adhere to the highest standards of American Legion Honor Guard protocols and professionalism. We currently have 10 volunteer Post 28 members serving on our Funeral Honors Team, which is comprised of Legionnaires, American Legion Riders, and Sons of The American Legion members.
